Ooooh, goodie, another bunch to trace down. Isn't it good when they have legible signatures!
ReplyDeleteYes. I should have added that I checked all the names against the 6th Infantry Bn men from Essendon and Flemington - and didn't pick up any locals. There might be a list of them in The Argus on their arrival in Melbourne, perhaps.
